A visualization review analysis of the last two decades for environmental Kuznets curve “EKC” based on co-citation analysis theory and pathfinder network scaling algorithms

Environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) is a statistical tool to examine the cointegration and causality nexus between economic growth carbon emissions. The EKC widely used in energy environmental economics studies. Although large number of researchers have analyzed by applying different models, some review work has been summarized draw pictorial view extending studies this research field. However, still, macroscopic overview needs be considered. Therefore, study aims contribute literature for finding new pathway further employing, facilitate research, scientometric analysis carried out feature CiteSpace. dataset was screened found 2384 records 59,225 Web Science (WoS) references, timespan 1999–2019 visualize knowledge map outcome scientific enterprise. visualization results reveal most influencing studies, institutions, authors, countries, keywords, category cloud, field EKC. This article reveals that on alignment with green sustainable technology science requires more attention. Further, would help authors publishers make their decisions planning future perspectives academic development applied methodology.
